Airports Near Zion

Imagine taking off from home in the morning, only to watch the sunset illuminate The Watchman the very same day. Or starting the day strolling through the airport, but ending it with a stroll to the Emerald Pool waterfalls. Or waking up in your bed, then falling asleep under the stars of a Zion campsite. The airports closest to Zion National Park make it possible for visitors to dream big, then fly easy.

Book a flight into St. George for the quickest tarmac-to-trailhead route, or plan a road trip to Zion from Salt Lake City or Las Vegas, where the major international airports are located. Cedar City is another nearby regional airport, while Phoenix and Grand Junction serve as alternatives for those willing to travel further.

Booking a Flight to Zion

There are three entrances to Zion. The South Entrance— via Springdale and St. George — is the most popular, so the airport-to-Zion distances below are measured here. The North Entrance (Kolob Canyon) is closest to Salt Lake City, while the East Entrance is mostly used by road-trippers from the Grand Canyon or Bryce Canyon National Park.
