Utah Royals FC Matches & Stadium Experience
The Utah Royals FC originally debuted in the NWSL in 2018, quickly building a passionate fan base before operations ceased after the 2020 season. Following strong community demand, the franchise was re-established under new ownership, restoring top-tier women’s professional soccer to the Salt Lake Valley.
Nestled right at the base of the Wasatch Mountains, America First Field offers one of the most stunning stadium backdrops in professional sports. The Royals are a centerpiece of Utah's thriving soccer ecosystem, which also includes the MLS NEXT Pro team Real Monarchs and the world-class Zions Bank Real Academy — a tuition-free, public charter high school serving grades 9–12.
The NWSL regular season typically runs from late March through October, followed by the NWSL Playoffs in November. Matches are primarily scheduled on Friday evenings, Saturdays, and Sundays.
Single-match tickets typically start between $15 and $25 for standard seats, with premium and sideline options scaling higher. To make matches accessible for everyone, the Royals offer a variety of budget-friendly ticket options throughout the season, including discounted packages for groups of 10 or more, as well as special theme nights featuring ticket-and-food bundles or exclusive merchandise giveaways.
Matchdays at America First Field are vibrant and high-energy. From pre-match fan fests and tailgate gatherings to non-stop chants from dedicated supporter groups, the atmosphere is family-friendly, loud and uniquely Utah.
America First Field seats over 20,000 spectators for soccer matches, offering clear sightlines, modern fan amenities and an intimate, close-to-the-pitch experience from every section.
America First Field is conveniently located in Sandy, Utah (15 miles south of Salt Lake City), just off Interstate 15. For stress-free travel without matchday traffic or parking hassles, fans in town can take the UTA TRAX Light Rail from Salt Lake Central Station (Blue Line to Draper) to the Sandy Expo Station, which is about a 10 walk from the stadium gates.
