Current Skiing Conditions
There are a lot of ways to experience The Greatest Snow on Earth®: fresh powder, fresh groomers, the feel of freshly falling snow itself, breathing fresh, snowy air, or just keeping it fresh, which according to the Urban Dictionary, is "The art of acting spontaneously, resulting in your actions being original and generally awesome." One thing is for sure. With Utah's resorts averaging upward of 500 inches of snow a year, we can share the perfect experience.
Check out more detail from Ski Utah's Snow Report for the latest snowfall and total base for all 14 of Utah's world-class ski resorts.
There is an art to skiing in Utah, and a science to The Greatest Snow on Earth®. Nevertheless, we're confident that no matter which side of the brain you think with, you'll find the right ski conditions here in Utah. And while we cannot predict the weather, we can show you historical averages and post a little widget of the latest and the Greatest, which means you'll have the perfect experience whether you plan ahead or enjoy "the spur of the moment."
Backcountry Ski Conditions
If you have your eye on Utah's backcountry, an entirely different set of rules apply. The reason? Resorts use several measures to protect you, including avalanche control and boundaries.
If you have your eye on the sidecountry or the backcountry, we partner with the Utah Avalanche Center. This keeps the current Utah ski conditions in front of you and ensures a safe backcountry experience, in addition to accessing their wealth of knowledge and accurate reporting to help guide you to the goods.
