Amusement Parks & Adventure Activities
Whether you're in the mood for flying down a zip-line at 8,000 feet or it's time to beat the heat at one of the state's fantastic water parks, you can easily find spills and thrills for the whole family in Utah. The largest amusement park in the Intermountain West, Lagoon, offers 45 electrifying rides, a water park, and is complete with a lazy river and a lounging area to relax and soak up some rays. Seven Peaks Water Park will cool you down while you speed up on your way down one of its hair raising water slides. If your family would like to have some out of the sun fun, consider an afternoon of laser tag at Boondocks. Their 4,000 square foot two-story arena themed with massive galactic space murals, star troopers, and black light illusions is sure to send you away on a mission to save the universe!
Another idea to consider: maybe the Utah Olympic Park will scratch that itch as it sends you spiraling off its freestyle jumps with just a fraction of the worry. The venue offers a "Summer Freestyle Jump Intro Clinic" where you can get your feet wet in the sport of aerial freestyle skiing into its Olympic Freestyle Pool. If you visit the Olympic Park in the winter, maybe you'd like to take a bobsled ride with a professional pilot and reach speeds up to 80 MPH down the entire length of the Olympic track. If you work up the nerve, you could also try your hand at luge, skeleton, or many other activities.
In Utah, there is no shortage of scenery, recreation, family fun, and adventure!
