Mountain Biking in Utah

Mountain Biking

Here you'll find off-road adventure unequalled anywhere in the world. Scenic rides can be found in all areas of the state, where terrain ranges from easy to extreme to let everyone enjoy Utah on wheels.

Utah Mountain Biking Trails

Utah is considered a mecca for Mountain Bikers. There is something for everyone, every ability and every adventure seeker. And Utah has the perfect mix of scenery, high desert, green forests and mountain plateaus.

Here are a few of our favorite trails:

Slickrock Trail - near Moab.
No description of mountain biking trails in Utah, or the world for that matter, is complete without mentioning the famous Slickrock Trail near Moab. In fact, Moab's rise to becoming the world-renowned outdoor recreation mecca that it is MUST credit The Slickrock Trail for bringing much of the initial attention to the entire area, which now draws people from the world over.  Read more about the Slickrock Trail...

Good Water Rim Trail - near Little Grand Canyon.
The twisting, turning Good Water Rim trail heads north from the Little Grand Canyon Overlook. For a brief distance, it follows a double-wide stretch of trail before converging with single-track that hugs the rim of the Good Water Canyon, a dramatic gorge that UtahMountainBiking.com describes as being shaped like a "cancerous maple leaf." Gooseberry Mesa Trail- outside of Moab, Utah, Southeastern Utah.
One of the most well-known trails in southwestern Utah is Gooseberry Mesa. This trail is a slick rock playground; for many riders, the equivalent of a skier's or snowboarder's perfect powder day. Read more about the Gooseberry Mesa Trail...

Thunder Mountain Trail - near Bryce Canyon National Park, Southwestern Utah.
