The Wasatch Mountains are part of the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest, one of the most visited areas in the national forest system, with unlimited recreation, found throughout the four seasons.

Utah has more than nine million acres of National Forests, where high-mountain lakes, meadows, woodlands and windy ridges are at the heart of many outdoor adventures. There are five National Forests managed by Forest Service District Offices located in the state.National Forest information is available at the Union Station Information Center, 2501 Wall Avenue, Ogden, UT, 84401, 801-625-5306, www.fs.usda.gov.
