The Salt Lake City Arts Council is pleased to announce the return of the Twilight Concert Series to Pioneer Park with another amazing line up. The 2012 season marks the 25th anniversary of the series, which will run Thursday evenings from July 5 through August 30. This year’s lineup includes Beach House/The Walkmen, Raphael Saadiq/JJ Grey & Mofro, My Morning Jacket, Passion Pit/Austra, Iron and Wine/Kathleen Edwards, M. Ward/Devotchka and Common.

The Twilight concerts have become an iconic event shaping the cultural landscape of Salt Lake City. Last year, each concert averaged 33,000 visitors and saw tremendous success in its second year at Pioneer Park. As the popularity of the Twilight Concert Series has grown, so has the cost associated with its production. In order to sustain success and continue making improvements to this popular event, the Salt Lake City Arts Council will now be charging a nominal admission fee of $5 per concert. Season passes and individual tickets will be available online starting June 1 at 10 am via the local ticketing agency, 24tix.com. Additionally, individual tickets will be available at all Graywhale locations beginning June 1 at 10 am.

The Twilight Concert Series runs Thursday evenings from July 5–August 30. Gates open at 5pm and the shows begin at 7pm at Pioneer Park, 350 West 300 South, downtown Salt Lake City. Seating is first come, first served, and a person must be present at all times to reserve seating. No chairs or blankets in the immediate stage area, standing room only. No alcoholic beverages can be brought into the venue. Beer and wine are available for purchase on-site. Pets and smoking are not allowed; service animals are welcome.
