Amangiri, Amanresorts' second property in the United States, is set to open in the "canyon country" of southern Utah. Located near the Utah-Arizona border, Amangiri (Sanskrit for 'peaceful mountain') is adjacent to the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. It encompasses Lake Powell and the Colorado River, ideally placed for day trips to Monument Valley and Bryce and Zion National Parks. Designed to blend with its natural surroundings, Amangiri will feature 34 guest suites.
