The Utah Civil War Association presents a Civil War Living History Event.

Friday, Sept 28th is School Days with a free dance, open to the public. Saturday activities includ Federal and Confederate soldiers, Cavalry demos, musicians and other presentations. Sunday features a non-demoninational 1860's Christian church service.

 The Utah Civil War Association presents a Civil War Living History Event. Friday, Sept 28th is School Days. We are expecting over 1500 students. This will be a first come first serve process.  Please feel free to register and bring your students to participate and experience this rare opportunity.
 
Friday School Days Schedule
9:00- Welcome
9:30- Ladies/Civilian Fashion
10:00-Confederate Cavalry demonstration
10:30-Ladies Side Saddle and Fashion demonstration
11:00-Prepare for battle, soldier military drill
12:00-Skirmish between North and South
1:00- Union Cavalry demonstration
That night will be a free Civil War Dance, which is open to the public.
 
Saturday, Sept 29th will be open to the public. Saturday, September 29th, will be open to the public.  There will be no admission or parking fees—this community event is completely FREE to the public, thank to our sponsors.  It will include encampments featuring Federal and Confederate soldiers with on going demonsrations and lectures all day in camp from 10am - 5pm.  Also, this public day will include medical, cavalry, artillery, musicians, 1860's real barber shave, and civilians along with two skirmishes between the North and the South.  Men, women, and children will be portrayed in diverse roles with something of interest to all

10:30-  Ladies/Civilian Fashion (amphitheater)
11:00-  Confederate Cavalry Demonstration
11:30-  Ladies Side Saddle Demonstration/Fashion Demonstration (open field)
12:00-  Prepare for Battle, Soldier Military drill in camp
12:30-  Skirmish between North and South
1:30-    Union Cavalry Demonstration (open field)
2:00-    1860's Ladies Tea (Located behind the little log cabins)
2:30-    Music of the Civil War (Located behind the little log cabins)
3:00-    Civil War Quilting Presentation, by New York Times best selling author Sandra Dallas
            (located in the Soldier Hollow Lodge)
3:30-    Artillery Demonstration
4:00-    Prepare for Battle, Soldier Military drill in camp)
4:30-    Skirmish between North and South

Sunday, Sept 30th features a nondenominational 1860's Christian church service at 10am.
