The 11th Annual LDS Film Festival will feature the 24-Hour Filmmaking Marathon, Short Film and Script Competition, Workshops, Trade Show, and many feature-film screenings and premieres.
Day passes and Full Festival passes are only available for purchase by phone at (801) 225-ARTS or in person at the main office of the SCERA Center for the Arts.
The LDS Film Festival was founded in 2001 by Austrian filmmaker Christian Vuissa, who envisioned a place for LDS filmmakers to network with each other and showcase their work to an appreciative audience. The festival is independently organized and not affiliated with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Since 2006, the festival has found a perfect venue at the SCERA Center for the Arts in Orem, Utah.
Filmmakers have the option to enter five different categories including the Feature Film Exhibition, the Short Film Competition, Special Screenings, 24-Hour Filmmaking Marathon and the 7-Page Script Competition. With these entries directors have the challenge of envisioning, creating and illuminating.
