We feel quite fortunate in Utah to have five national parks-Arches, Bryce Canyon, Canyonlands, Capitol Reef and Zion-in our beloved state. To celebrate the founding of the National Park system on August 25, 1916, the National Park Service is offering free admission to all national parks, national monuments and (Golden Spike, anyone?) historic sites.
To help celebrate the National Park Service’s 97th birthday, we’re giving away a free annual national parks pass (an $80 value) to an individual (chosen at random) who shares their favorite national park story with us in the comments below.
So share your stories with us in the comments below, then go visit your national parks for free on the 25th. If you’d to show your love for Utah’s Mighty 5(tm) national parks with a beautiful Mighty 5 sticker, simply fill out this form and we’ll get one in the mail to you, free of charge.
Happy Birthday National Parks! Here’s to many more happy memories!
