Heber Valley Historic Railroad

Hop aboard for a scenic ride that takes you through Heber Valley farmland, along Deer Creek Reservoir, and down Provo Canyon to Vivian Park. Scenery along the route is spectacular during every season of the year. Wild animals and birds including deer, elk, and eagles are all commonly seen along the tracks. Trains depart from the Heber Valley Railroad Depot at 450 South 600 West in Heber City. Round trip rides range from two hours on the Deer Creek Express to three hours on the Provo Canyon Limited. Special holiday and seasonal events such as North Pole Express, Day Out with Thomas, and Pumpkin Festival vary in length. Summer adventure packages include Reins ‘n Trains, Raft ‘n Rail, and Zipline Wilderness Adventure. Saturday evening dinner trains include the Sunset Barbecue and Murder Mystery which both operate once a month.
